In 2023, the Parliament of World’s Religions (PoWR)came back in August in Chicago, 130 years after the very first PoWR in Chicago in 1893. The theme was :” A Call to Conscience: Defending Freedom and Human Rights”. 7000+ attendees came from 95+ countries and 210+ Traditions brought a week of Joy and Celebration 8/14-8/18. A Sikkh Langar is offered at every day lunch, where all mingled in fellowship, while enjoying a Vegetarian Indian meal.
